Parent-Teacher Communication
At Boynewood State School, we value strong partnerships between home and school. Open and effective communication between parents, students and staff helps ensure every child is supported to achieve success both academically and socially.
Parent-Teacher Interviews
Formal parent-teacher interviews are held twice each year, typically at the end of Terms 1 and 3. These interviews provide an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss student progress, celebrate achievements and identify goals for future learning.
All parents are strongly encouraged to participate in these meetings as we believe a close partnership between families and teachers enhances each student's educational journey. Information regarding interview times and booking procedures will be communicated to families prior to each interview period.
School Newsletter
The Boynewood Bulletin is distributed to families each week via email and is also available through the school's website. The newsletter is an important source of information and includes upcoming events, student achievements, important reminders and school news.
Families are encouraged to read the newsletter regularly to stay informed about school activities and opportunities.
Phone, Email and Face-to-Face Communication
We encourage parents and carers to maintain regular communication with the school. Teachers are happy to discuss student progress, learning and wellbeing throughout the year.
Parents can communicate with staff through:
• Phone
• Email
• Face-to-face meetings
If you would like to arrange a meeting with your child's teacher, please contact the school or the teacher directly to arrange a mutually convenient time outside of classroom teaching hours.
Working Together
At Boynewood State School, we believe that strong relationships between families and the school are essential for student success. We encourage parents and carers to contact us whenever they have questions, concerns or information that may help us support their child.
Together, we can ensure every student is known, valued and supported to achieve their personal best.
